The Reveal: The Dragon Book
Now for the reveal of my top secret project...MY DRAGON BOOK!!!!

This project has been in concept phase for far too long, and now I have finally gotten around to putting it together! Now I don't really expect many people to be able to make this but I'll tell you how I did it anyway.
Supplies:
Blank sketchbook.
Dragon Eye (see last post for tutorial)
Acrylic paint
Sealer Spray or Mod Podge
Now here's the funny thing. The last material I used was a plaster bandage stuff I got from the Orthopedist when they took a mold of my feet. He couldn't use the rest of the roll so he gave it to me. I don't know what it's called or even what it really is, but if you can find it good for you.
Step 1: Create the wing. I got the plaster stuff wet and put it on a piece of paper and plastic paper and molded it into the shape of the wing.

Step 2: Create a sheet of the plaster stuff. You would want to make two of them. One for the cover, one for the back. Once those are dry, hot glue them on. DO NOT do it when they are half dry. I did that. It slid off. I didn't realize this, but in the picture, you can see the glue that was used for take one. :P

Step 3: Hot glue on the wing, then paint!

Step 4: Hot glue on the eye and spray on the sealer coat of paint. I didn't get a photo of this step, so I'm sorry. Mostly. I would like to note that you might want to put blue tape over the clear part of the dragon eye.
Step 5: Fill it with dragons and show it off!

I hope that you get a chance to make this. If you find another solution to the plaster stuff, good for you! I plan on using this as a LARP prop (live action role play for you who don't know.)
See you guys next weekend for more crafts, fantasy, and dragons!
