DIY Christmas Ornaments

Merry Christmas to you all! If you remember from earlier, I had leftover scrabble tiles from the signs, so today I'm going to show you two different styles of ornaments that you can make with simple materials!

Gather Materials

Hot Glue

Popsicle sticks

Scrabble tiles (usually can find at thrift store)

Twine for hanging

Optional: Paint or stickers. Maybe even rhinestones!

Sled Ornaments

Step 1: Cut a Popsicle stick into three parts and use two parts to connect a set of four Popsicle sticks.

Step 2: Cut two more down to size and use them to make the runners of your sled. Make sure you glue them on the side that doesn't have the bars sticking out. You need those for the string.

Step 3: Glue the string to the handles.

Step 4: Hang your ornament!

Scrabble Tile Ornaments

Step 1: Connect six popsicle sticks with a popsicle stick cut in half. (did that make sense?)

Step 2: Arrange your scrabble tiles into the word (or words) you want. If you don't have a letter, use a sharpie and the back of a not-as-used letter to make one. I had to do that with the "S".

Step 3: Glue your string to the back.

Ta-da!

You can go as nuts as you want with decorating these. Hope you had fun!
